Description
Heinrich Strobel: "Verehrter Meister, lieber Freund.." Meetings with composers of our time.
Strobel, one of the most prominent promoters of new music in Germany in the 20th century tells about his meetings and friendships with almost all of the important composers of the 20th century in a 116-page, richly illustrated book. 5LPs that were produced by DGG sonically accompany the stories and pictures. Music on the five records comes from Boulez, Britten, Berio, Stockhausen, Ligeti, Nono, Penderecki, Krenek, Messiaen, Liebermann, Stravinsky, Hindemith, Foss, Haubenstock-Ramati, Dallapiccola, Zimmermann & Hartmann.
The book was issued by Belser, text is in German only! German DGG-pressings have small tulip-labels and article-nos. 0629 027/031. All LPs have separate sleeves. Records and book are presented in a massive slip-case.
Limited issue from 1978, only pressed in small numbers.

About my record-grading:
All records are described as accurately as possible and I will always prefer a more detailed depiction of the actual status, but usually I’ll only visually grade the records.
Please note that old records that were stored in shelves for a long time might have static noises even if they still look like new. Professional cleaning will almost always solve that problem.
Dust on records will generally not influence my gradings but if records appear to have stronger signs of soiling, I will give them a professional cleaning and playgrade them to get a more objective view on what their condition is actually like.

That does, however, not mean that I will not be willing to go for a mutually satisfying solution in the rare event of you not being happy with your purchase.
