Description
Released by Sue Records in 1968, cat # WI-4048; this is “A Woman With The Blues” / “I Thought It Was All Over” by The Lamp Sisters.
Both labels are clean with no fading or discolouration to either label. I can just make out one spindle mark on the label…….There are a couple very tiny surface blemishes on the vinyl. Playing, there is a bit of crackle at the start of the record, but this is due to the “greenness” of the vinyl. It needs to be played to cut through the residue left over from the pressing process. How many Sue singles do you come across that can say that!
The record grades as at least excellent and comes in it’s original plain white sleeve that looks as good as new.
Remarkable and stunning!
All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The majority of the collection is mint or unplayed! All of these are one-offs, no duplicates so miss them at your peril! For the full story on the collection, please see our “me” page.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
I will combine multiple auction wins to reduce postage costs, so please remember to look at my other soul singles. Remember to bookmark us as your favourite seller – hundreds of soul singles still to come.
