Description
This auction is for one copy of the extremely rare, first Suede single - "Be My God" b/w "Art".
It is a white label promo with "RML 001 A" and "RML 001 B" in the run off grooves (see photo).
This single was never issued. In the Suede biography "Love & Poison", Justine Frischmann says there were 500 copies pressed, of which at least 100 were destroyed by the band after being dissatisfied with the end result.
Despite never having fully joined the band, these recordings feature Mike Joyce from The Smiths on drums.
This copy is pretty clean and looks to be unplayed. The vinyl doesn't show any significant scratching or wear. If you need any other photos please let me know and I'd be happy to take them for you.
