Description
This is an auction for a rare vinyl copy of the 1st pressing of the Sufjan Stevens album Illinois (Come On Feel the Illinoise) released in 2005 on Asthmatic Kitty Records. This version is known as the Superman cover but due to copyright infringement Superman was hidden under a sticker featuring three colored balloons prior to release. Both vinyl records are in excellent condition and have only been played a couple of times on a high quality record player. The cover has some wear with denting/creasing on the bottom right corner/inside the gatefold from original shipping. The balloon sticker has some minor creasing on the end of it by the balloon string. The cover looks in nice shape overall, refer to the pictures for more detail. Picture/lyric insert is also included and in excellent condition.
Album will be securely packed in a record mailer and shipped via media mail with tracking and insurance in the US. International shipping is handled through ebay's global shipping program so additional custom fees may be applied through ebay for international orders. Thanks for viewing!
