Description
Sugar "Chile" Robinson - Capiyol Presents
(Capitol LC 6586 UK 10" LP 1955)
This is a UK original 10" LP pressing from 1955. It has a matt sleeve which has a top & bottom flipback. There is no inner sleeve - it never originally came with one. The record fits tight in the sleeve. The record has black & gold "Capitol" labels. It has 1st press -1A/ -1B matrix numbers.
A rare UK 10" LP. The style varies from Boogie Blues and early Rock 'n' Roll. There are some great tracks on this LP.
Sleeve: There is some mild to moderate rubbing wear to the spine, top & bottom edges. There are no seam splits. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & fading. There is a small area of staining on the rear. VG condition
Vinyl: There are some light, mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 7 or 8 hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 3 cm in length. The sleeve has left some light, mild or very mild marks on some areas. Good+ condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show light or mild spindle wear & foxing on one label.
I have fully play tested this 10" LP. It plays Good to VG overall. There is some light, mild or more moderate crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is most noticeable in the quietest places. The music still shines through. There are some light or mild intermittent clicks in two separate places on Side 1. And in one place on Side 2. These, in the main, do not last too long.
I shall remove the vinyl from its sleeve during shipping. This will prevent any damage to the sleeve during transit.
