Description

Here are a few facts regarding this monstrously rare Holy Grail Garage Psych Rock Rock 45. I KNOW this is Unplayed as I bought it new and still stapled in the brown kraft paper sleeve years and years after it came out in 1967. The band is from Grenada, Mississippi with the guitar player, Bud Bays, being a friend of mine...I believe that 3 of the original band members still live in or around Grenada. I know that Danny Lancaster has passed away. A wonderful multi instruments musician that played with local, regional and national acts.  The record had limited distribution as well as numbers produced and this in borne out by the fact that years can go by without one even being offered in any condition on eBay.  Mississippi produced some great garage bands some of which went on to bigger things than their first release. This record has been recognized as being amongst the "200 Greatest US Garage Teenbeat Psych 45s" and that is saying something as there are 1000s of great Garage Band recordings out there so it is pretty apparent that the SCBB never got the break they needed to take it to the next level. The flip side is A Hard Rains' Gonna Fall/Corinna Corinna. Both sides are in very nice glossy condition and your satisfaction is assured by my 100% guarantee. The discoloration seen on MLI side above the Black Crow imprint was caused by some unknown substance 'dribbling' from the top of the sleeve to the very top of the label a bit. The line of continuation matches up from the top of the sleeve onto the label and I will include the original sleeve that I bought it in so that it can be seen.  I have not tried to remove it in any way. FREE SHIPPING on this one for both domestic and overseas! Payment is due within THREE days or an unpaid will be filed and the record relisted or offered to the underbidder if there is one. Good luck and thanks for looking!
