Suite London / The Peddlers original 1971 Vinyl LP EX Condition.
An extremely good copy of this rare and very influential LP by The Peddlers.
This 50-year old recording was their final studio outing before parting ways. It could be said to have spawned the whole “chill out” genre long before it was ‘a thing’.
Stunning sound, fabulous vocals, brilliant Hammond organ playing and deft arrangements by the Philharmonic.

This copy is in fine condition ; the sleeve is in great shape with the spine still firm and legible. The LP itself is in terrific shape for its fifty years. There are no skips, sticks or jumps.
Side Two is near-flawless after several deep cleans by me. Only a little crackle remains occasionally at high volume (at which I tend to play ).
Side One too is excellent. There is however a visible but thin light scratch which extends over the first two and a half tracks. It can be seen by the naked eye but try as I might, I found it impossible to photograph.
This is not ‘feelable’ but does cause a slight repetitive tick on track 2. It’s not so audible on the first and third tracks, where it is mercifully short.
This does not detract from the overall excellence of the LP -the sound is rich and dynamic with some remarkable musicianship. A very thrilling and engaging sound from an LP in excellent condition after such an amount of time.
