Description

uncle b jay bazaar (for the rare and one of a kind):
Sun Ra- A fireside chat with Lucifer/Temple U SATURN misspress/hybrid ?!
visual grade: M- play grade: M--(check the long audio clips of the actual record on auction), plays absolutely GREAT ! labels: clean, hand-made with shower curtain psychedelic plastic cover: Vg++ (check large pictures accurately for all the details), yellow USA 60/70's style heavy cardboard sleeve with no flaps inside
conservative grading
comments: i saw many Saturns in my life BUT never one with such a cool cover like this one, i saw these unique Sun Ra pic ONLY on this cover ! just check yrself how hip, back cover even have a shower curtain psych plastic on the left side (pysch plastic on the labels too !). the music, here's more complicated and i'll try to be as much clear as possible:
side a is "a fireside chat with Lucifer" side a, but i think that track sequence is different as here "retrospect" start the side (on the "regular version" is a2), then you got "makeup" and to end the side "Nuclear war"; rec. early 80's. matrix n° 194a (hand-written)
side b'd definately be "Temple U" side b, also here it looks like that track sequence is totally different as "the world of Africa" start the side (while on the "regular version" it ends it); rec. 1974. matrix n° 194b (hand-written)
the most amazing thing is that with this sequence it really works, i mean it's a fantastic album start to finish ! most probably the only copy in circulation, VERY RARE
