Description
Sun Ra~Monorails&Satellites vol 2 ~orig. El Saturn EX/VG+ Cosmic Jazz solo LP. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
This is an original pressing of Monorails and Satellites Vol 2 on the El Saturn label ESR-9691
519 recorded in 1966 and released in 1974.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. There are some surface markings on the record that do not affect play. The are a few occasional soft pops and crackles but nothing that distracts from the sound. (Ra's independent pressings are often sketchy).
The labels are bright and vivid and the runout groove is inscribed 'Ihnfinity Inc. 9691A/B'.
The LP sleeve is in VG+ condition ~ the blue print illustrations on the front and back are vivid and strong.
On the front cover white border there is a brownish stain on the front lower part, dark wear on the top, light wear at the lower opening and little nick on the lower left close to the spine.
On the rear cover there is a tiny bit of ring wear at the top and light marks on the white borders.

On this record Sun Ra plays five tracks; four are piano solos and one is a trio with cosmically enhanced drums and bass.
