Description

This 1979 private press Saturn album from the Sun Ra factory, is Saturn 91379, generally
referred to as "Omniverse", which refersto the opening track on side 2. This, and many Sun Ra albums
from this time were only sold off of the bandstand at one of his numerous live performances,
or at a few hip record stores. The version being offered here has a different 
hand drawn cover than the one normally pictured on the internet, and the side 2 label is also unique. (See photos)
The Arkestra at this live performance was smaller than normal for Ra, and includes
Ra on piano; Michael Ray-trumpet; Marshall Allen-alto; John Gilmore-tenor;
Danny Ray Thompson-bs; Richard Williams-bass; and Luqman Ali-drums.
All compositions are from the fertile mind of Mr Sun Ra.

Probably recorded at the West End Cafe, New York, September 13th. 1979.

The LP has some surface noise (Saturn's were not known for their quality control...), VG+, the 
Jacket is also VG+ with some shelf wear on the drawn on generic white jacket.
