This is not an Original Pressing of this album. Delmark First Pressings had circle around  their logo instead of rectangle.  Also, this label has blue/white.  
This is a reissue of Transition #j-10  released in 1957.

Vinyl is Excellent +   Album plays through with  perhaps some surface noise (very slight) that can  be heard on something measured in seconds when listening to entire LP.  There are a few faint  markings on Side B. Side A is Clean.  Album plays like it is NM or Mint -.  Vinyl maintains shine.
Sleeve is Excellent - Solid Cardboard.  No bad seams.   Please see photos posted. Cover has kept sheen.

Delmark Seven West Grand
Album was originally scheduled for release in 1965 by Delmark.  For reasons unknown it was delayed until 1967.  This LP preceded release by Delmark of "Sound Of Joy" 

Comments on album content:
We don't see many reviews of this album.  We owned and listened to Super-Sonic Sounds, Art Forms of  Dimensions Tomorrow, Sound Of Joy and this among Sun Ra Recordings that date back to 1950's or early 1960's.  We always found this had more in common with Sound Of Joy than the others mentioned above. Yet, both Sound of Joy and Sun Song reveal a link to Super-Sonic Sounds.  It is too simple to tag this 'hard bop' only.  It is experimental Big Band, it has great Swing in a traditional way.  It is surely Progressive jazz.  The tracks never failed to give us as much listening pleasure as any of the albums we tend to group this with (mentioned above).  In some 45-50 years of listening to this album, and the others; we never considered one of greater value than the other.  We played them according to which tracks we felt like listening to.  Round 'n Round
