Description

Inner and outer space traveler Sun Ra released this album as El Saturn Research
#Intergallactic II IR522, in 1972. Though no definitive notes exist on its recording,  it was probably recorded in 1970 in New York. It is a rare small group performance wherein Sun Ra plays  TWO moog synthesizers and the Roksichord, and is joined by the great tenor man John Gilmore,  Danny Davis on alto sax and clarinet, and Stafford James on bass. A Bird's Eye View  has a flute, though there is no flute mentioned in the notes...quality control?  A few of the tracks are Sun Ra on solo electronics.  The tunes are;
Sun-Earth Rock
The All of Everything
Impromptu Festival1972
Blue Soul
Narrative
Outside The Time Zone
The Night of the Purple Moon
A Bird's Eye View of Man's World
21st Century Romance
Dance of the Living Image
Love in Outer Space
    The album looks and plays EX, though it has a couple of minor sleeve lines. There is a note on the  jacket that says that the tune Outside the Time Zone skips, but my playing of it did not reveal that truth.  There are a couple of pops.  Other than that writing, the jacket is EX, with all spines intact  (the very small beginnings of a seam split at the bottom opening), and  some slight age yellowing.
