Description

Sun Ra on Saturn 1966, Signed

This is the rare original deep-groove pressing of Sun Ra “When Angels Speak of Love” on Saturn 1966. The playing surfaces have several inaudible scuffs, hairlines, and tiny bumps; regardless, this is a ticky pressing, typical of early Saturns.  The cover has 4” of clear tape on the top seam, at the opening, and clear tape along the bottom seam; light foxing along the right edge of the front.  The back is signed by Marshall Allen.  Ticket stub for April 24, 2005 appearance at the Knitting Factory is included.
