Earlier this year, we made a trip out west which included a stop to see a friend in Montana who had just bought the contents of a record store that closed during the pandemic. That record store had thousands of vintage records, posters, as well as many collectibles and Record Store Day releases that extended until 2021. We purchased quite a bit of closeout merchandise, all of which was NOS (new old stock) and factory sealed. Included in the inventory was a sealed factory case with 8 of these turntables, which still have the Record Store Day seal on them. On Record Store Day, these were in hundreds of Records stores in 2020 and retailed for $99.95. We’re selling them for $79.95 with free UPS shipping included to the continental US until they are all gone. The pictures include a photo of a set of records we bought individually, which are open for viewing. The four records, and each of the turntables are also factory sealed. We wanted to be able to show you the detail on the records as well as the included posters and used a unit we had already opened - yours will be sealed.

3-inch records were originally released and marketed for a short time in Japan in the early 2000s, just before the worldwide re-birth of vinyl began to take hold. Fast forward 14 years, the idea of resurrecting the format stemmed from a trip to Japan when representatives of Record Store Day US met Toyokasei, the only factory which used to make these “8ban” records.

After a year of development, prototyping, tweaking and collaboration with the Record Store Day team, the RSD3 Mini Turntable by Crosley was born. Don’t be fooled by its small stature! This mini belt-drive turntable has a lot of the same features as its big brothers - including an Audio-Technica AT3600 moving-magnet cartridge, adjustable pitch control, fully supported turntable platter and an aux out port with RCA adaptor. The RSD3 has a built-in speaker that gets the job done, but use the aux-out and included RCA cable adapter to hook this mini turntable into larger speakers and you’re in for a surprise. Record Store Day and Crosley went on to release hundreds of 3-inch records, with the latest releases coming from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, - all of which play on this turntable.
