Description
This listing is for a hard to come by vinyl LP for the original cast recording of the musical Sunday In The Park With George by Stephen Sondheim.
The musical stars Broadway legends Mandy Patinkin and Bernadette Peters.
It was released on the RCA Red Seal Digital label in 1984 with catalog # HBC1-5042.
This is a US first pressing of the LP.
The record itself is in excellent condition with only very light surface wear.
There is also some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.
If using industry grading I would grade this disc as a VG++ copy.
The record comes in the original RCA branded poly-lined inner sleeve.
The gatefold jacket is in what I would call good condition with moderate visible cover wear on the edges & corners and some ring wear (mostly on the back cover), but no seam splits or other major defects.
I would grade the cover as a higher end VG.
Includes the 20-page libretto insert, which is in good condition.
Stored in a smoke free home, out of any direct sunlight, and away from any extreme temperature changes.
Please see the various images on this listing for further details on the condition of the record & sleeve.
Please feel free to message me with any questions.
