Description
Sunny Murray (with Albert Ayler, Don Cherry, Lewis Worrell, Henry Grimes, Leroi Jones) SONNY’S TIME NOW Jihad Records 663, recorded 1965. Jihad original. I’ve never heard a cleaner version of this music—USA or Jpn. Disc plays impressively M-. ridiculously special item! Also includes original 2-page typed mimeo sheet with session details, preserved by original owner in a sheet protector, so it, too, is pristine. Jacket has a total of 4 1” crease-fissures on top and bottom edges, as visible in photo. Quite extraordinary.
Here’s the ninth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence. Combined shipping available within reason.
