Description
Black label with silver text. Original issue. The Quartet features Sunny Murray, drums with Franz Beckerlee, alto sax; Hugh Steinmetz, trumpet; Steffen Andersen, bass. 5 tracks record in Copenhagen in 1964. Notes on the back cover in English. Very rare original issue.
Cover: VG+ 1" split on the bottom edge. The cover has some discoloration which may have been part of the original art design. There is some soil from ordinary handling. Small discoloration mark on the upper insert edge corner from an old price sticker. Overall, fine condtion.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. The vinyl surface has a fine, gloss finish with no markings on the vinyl Possibly never previously played. On Tracks 1 & 2 on Side 1 have no noise other than a rare, occasional, barely audible groove noise for a revolution or 2. This slight noise is irregular and evidently in the pressing. There is no noise on Side 2. Moderately heavy vinyl pressing. Audibly checked.
