Description

Slim played a big part in the beginning of the Chicago blues scene playing with the likes of Muddy Waters, Leroy Foster, Little Walter and even Big Bill Broonzy in the late 40s. This great LP was recorded and released in 1960 and backed by King Curtis, Robert Banks and Leonard Gaskin. Prestige Bluesville #1016, vinyl is M-, silver print on blue label. Cover has upper 6" seam split and slightly creased lower right corner. Everything else fine. This was his first LP as a featured artist. King Curtis is amazing here.
