Description

Super Rare 1972 Modern British Jazz trio Back Door lp. Only sold at Concerts in the normal issue (so already rare), this is the White Label test pressing, with press release, on a correct 1972 contract pressing RCA white label. The group would have sent this to the music press of the time to publicise the gigs and the existence of the lp, which never had shop distribution as far as we know. The plain white sleeve has a typed label, and the press release is printed (roneographed was it?) on a 70's machine in a now outdated paper size. Musically, this sax or flute led trio (with Fender bass & drums) were very exciting, the cutting edge of 1972. 

Record is in Very Good condition, some marks to playing surfaces, but plays very well, no skips and most noise where it exists lost beneath the drums. Very Good sleeve. we send packed in hard card custom made new boxes.
