MELIH FARUK SERDAR SAYGUN "Gurbet Acisi/Canakkale Turkusu" (Mert 101)
This is one SERIOUSLY rare record. I do mean it... and with picture sleeve? We're talking about a biggie here but who cares if noone knows about it? Actually, the psych fans who gave an ear to the Hava Narghile compilation knows about the band on one of the songs from this single but for some strange reason, the MONSTER psych/prog track on side B with a superb psych guitar solo was not put up at that very comp. This overall is great Turkish rock from 1972 with VERY good heavy psychedelic overtones. Folks, get this and you won't regret it. Cover has a problem right around the middle in the shape of a very small tear (though not torn away!) and overall it's VG+. Record is VG++ to EX- with great fidelity and the few number of superficial scuffs not affecting play. This is a very hot item over here in Turkey so go for it while still here.
