NOW HERE'S A TOUGH ALBUM TO FIND!
"Davis Cup" Walter Davis Jr.should go down as one of the most beautiful albums ever made, and for good reason. It features Donald Byrd, Jackie Mclean, Sam Jones, and Art Taylor. I have listened to many albums in my lifetime, but I found this one to be particularly arresting. The cover grades as VG++/NM with the only flaw being a small stain on the back in the upper left corner. The album grades VG++/NM. It is deep grooved on both sides with the 47 West 63rd NYC address & RVG in the dead wax. It plays through flawlessly with no clicks, pops, hisses, etc.
Bid accordingly and with confidence on this one because there's no telling when another one of this quality will turn up. This album comes from a collection that sat for forty years and was seldom if ever played.
