Description
Superb EX Mono first pressing of Sahib Shihab, Jazz Sahib, Savoy MG 12124. Beautiful first pressing of this hard to find LP featuring original oxblood-colored Savoy labels with deep groove and “RVG” stamped into run-out dead wax.
Cover: VG/VG-. Front cover is bright and clear with original gloss, some browning along the top, and slight bending to lower right and upper right corners. Back cover is tight and clean with some foxing on the top and right edge. There is significant seam splitting along bottom and also along spine (see photos) but otherwise cover is in great cosmetic shape, and despite seam split is structurally sound.
LP: EX. Glossy vinyl is just beautiful with a few cosmetic scratches that do not affect play at all. Plays strong and clear without skips, clicks, or jumps. Labels are bright and clean with deep groove. An absolutely pleasurable listen with rich full-sounding Van Gelder production.
LP will come in protective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thick vinyl protective sleeve.
