graded VG+/VG for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system


label: The label it's the light blue and does have some evident spindle marks around the centre hole in both sides but no othes defects so a still a good VG+. These spindle marks denotes several playings.
cover: The cover it's laminated on front with the typical Clarifoli structure of the period. There's the classic inspection hole on the back right corner. As you know the Decca label made this circular hole for to make see if the inner sleeve border was blue for the stereo copies or red for the mono copies. The back cover it's unlaminated as all the decca covers of the period. The front cover does have some 5/6 lamination creases of about  a couple of cm each, plus some starting of lamination brilliancy especially in the ring of the disc that it's quite evident on the lamination depend to sun light. The backit's a bit dirty or yellowed in the edges zones. In conclusion I can say that this cover it's VG or VG+ for a strict Record Collector grading system.
vinyl: The vinyl look absoltelly VG or maybe VG- too because he have quite a lot marks and scuffs but plays really much better. In particular the side one plays really great and except some very rare light crackles for some seconds or occasional and isolate clicks he plays close to the excellency. The second side too except the second track "Four Women" where the crackling and the noises are more annoying during the plays ...and partially also the third track too... but the rest it's really super playable and enjoyable also because the music it's so pumping and dense that it's over any defect.
review: There are many reasons to consider to make an offer on this lp. The first one it's that it's one of the best hard rock blues progressive records of ever, the music structure it's powerful but very accurate and the players are very professional but transmit a lot of energy...the guitar solos of  Rod Price are really uncommons and ashtonishings. The second reason it's that this is a short lived group but it's very important in the music history because in his first line up were Simon Kirke on Drums and Paul Kossoff on lead guitar that, as you know,  will be founders members of the legendary group FREE and altough they are not in this lp line up there's some tracks that seems to be of some ispiration for Kossoff as the great "Save My Love" ... then other two members of the line up that made this great album for the Decca Nova series will be fouder members of another very collectable album: LEAFHOUND /Growers Of Mushrooms on Decca...the rarest UK major label lp. I'm speaking of the bassist and guitarist Stuart and Derek Brooks so as you can see this record it's a very important musical crossover. The third reason it's that it's very hard to find nowdays and even if not a totally perfect copy can be very welcome if for an appropiate price...then it's absolutelly still enjoyable so...  Don't Miss this opportunity!!!
