Description
Utterly amazing and uber-rare Beatnik LP on Roulette Records. This LP features "beatnik" versions of classic Grimm Brothers fairy tales "as dug by Don Morrow" and accompanied to jazz and bongo drums. Tracks from this album were excerpted on the famous Rhino beatnik box set many years ago. Tracks include "Like Hansel and Gretel," "Like Shoemaker & The Elves," "Like Rumpelstilskin," "Like Wow!" "Two Little Kooks," "Two-beat Beatniks," "Kerouazy" and a few others. Send me an email if you want a complete track listing.
I grade conservatively so that you won't be disappointed. Based on visual grading, LP is VG/VG+ - side 1 has one very noticeable scratch a few more minor ones. Side 2 has some very light scratches but probably rates a VG+++++ by itself. Jacket is VG+++++++++++++++ - only slightest spot of ring wear on cover and "demonstration" stamp on back keep it from being mint minus. This record has always been stored in a plastic sleeve.
I use brand new, heavy gauge cardboard LP mailers to ensure the record arrives safely. I can ship this LP for $4.00 via media mail and $6.50 via priority mail - your choice. I will also combine shipping costs to save you money if you buy multiple LP's. Foreign buyers, contact me for shipping costs.
