Supertramp – The Autobiography Of Supertramp 1986 UK Vinyl LP - Plays EXCELLENT

Original 1986 album that despite the budget vinyl of the late 1980’s sounds great. Excellent compilation with all the obvious Supertramp tracks we have come to love.

Vinyl: Plays back EXCELLENT! No heavy noise, no clicks, no pops. Visually graded at VG+. Clean! A handful of non audible larger hairlines and scuffs on each side, the most notable at the start of ‘Platform 1’. Plenty of light hairline surface marks visible under bright light where the vinyl has been in and out of its sleeve. No deep surface marks. The record has retained its beautiful sheen. Clean labels, minimal scuffing around centre hole from the turntable spindle.

Gatefold Cover: EXCELLENT! Visually graded at EX. Minimal ageing wear is visible but nothing detrimental to its overall stunning appearance. The most notable wear (if you look hard) to both front and rear is slight indents/scuffs/scratches to the laminate. Very slight ring wear to back (once again you need to look hard). Colours are clear and vivid. Spine too is in excellent condition, most text clear. Inner cardboard credit sleeve in excellent condition too.

The only notable point to mention would be evidence of the old price stick top left hand corner (see pictures). No ring wear to front or back. Colours are clear and vivid. Spine too is in excellent condition, all text clear. Original inner paper sleeve in excellent condition too.

Record grading:

Near Mint (NM) - The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been

played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete.

Excellent (E) - Same but I'd tolerate very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally.

Very Good Plus (VG+) - A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.

Very Good (VG) - It's seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.
