Description
For auction is a copy of Supertramp 's Crime Of the Century. Released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab this is the UHQR (ultra high quality recording) version of this LP which is considered by many to be the definitive edition of this recording. The box on this copy has quite a bit of wear and tear, but they vinyl is clean.
The outerbox has plenty of shelf wear. The corners of the box are split also. The inside contents are all quite clean however. It is all here...includes the Technical Specifications Manual, the UHQR Certificate of Authenticity (this copy is # 482), original foam insert, white album divider, LP cover and poly-lined sleeve.
The glossy vinyl is very clean. There are one or two spindle marks on the label. Under very bright light you can see a few very light marks on the vinyl from sliding in and out of its sleeve. Otherwise, very clean. A quick play test revealed that a few ticks and pops could be heard at the lead-in groove, but the rest of the vinyl was quite clean. If you have a VPI cleaning machine it would probably take care of this. The tracks really sound very dynamic and I'm sure you will be impressed.
