Supertramp - Crime Of The Century - Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Vinyl LP - New, Mint, Resealed* 1978 Pressing
Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs - MFSL 1-005 - 1978 - Super High Fidelity Limited Edition
This was the first MFSL release of a previously released album by a major artist (followed by the John Klemmer "Touch" LP).  Previous releases were some slightly bizarre "Mood" compilations made as reference editions.  I have seen copies of this release with and without the hype stickers.

Disclosure* I received 2 of these directly from my A&M rep in 1978, (thanks, Butch!) without the original MFSL sleeve and hype stickers. The MFSL literature was just inserted inside the record cover.  Also the 4 page literature insert  is a bit more primitive than later releases. My recollection  is that he got a case of them directly from the Japan (JVC?) pressing plant on a visit. There are no promo markings on the cover or LP. Since I was collecting these, I placed them in archival sleeves. For the purposes of this auction, I had this copy sealed in a new sleeve for protection.  The cover is mint, the inner sleeve is mint, the literature is still inside the sleeve and the LP has never been played.  I wish these were numbered editions, because I am sure this one would be really low.
I have seen other MFSL LPs being sold in sealed sleeves with no literature and no stickers, and I wanted to be clear that this definitely is not the original sleeve.  I think this may be the only release where some of the copies did not get hype stickers.
This will packaged in a bubble wrap pouch, double boxed and shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Interested international buyers will need to message me before purchase so that shipping options can be explored.
