Description
Main Sleeve:
This sleeve is in excellent condition and is one of the best I've seen of this very influential record! There is the usual bubbling in places that you get due to the laminated cover but I've never seen a copy of this record that didn't have that. The spine is very good (with just some more of that bubbling) and the corners are also quite sharp with not much wear at all! There are some scratches and a few marks here and there but what 44 year old rock record doesn't have that?
Inner Sleeve:
The inner sleeve is white with little fading but it does have some creasing.

A Side - LPL1 5038 A - 1 B Side - LPL1 5038 B - 1
I have play tested this record and here is what I heard:
Side A: (Please note that on both sides a majority of the surface noise was only noticeable in the very quiet parts or when the tracks were fading out)
A1 - There was an occasional bit of light crackle at times A2 - At the start of the track there was some light crackle and it came back at another point in the track A3 - Some light crackle and also the odd pop (wasn't that loud) A4 - Possibly a pop near the start but it was hard to tell and there was some more at the very end of the track during the fade out A5 - Possibly a pop at some point in the track but again it was hard to tell. The fade out had some noise.
Side B:
B1 - Some crackling in the quieter parts (most noticeable when it got quiet before the vocals come in). B1 definitely wasn't that good in comparison to the A side B2 - Had some crackle throughout B3 - B3 was a lot better than B1 and 2 and I don't remember hearing many faults if at all. B4 - Some noticeable light crackle in the quieter sections B5 - Again in the silent parts and it also gave one pop.
Both sides have some dust and a few hairs here and there (all removable)
Overall this is an excellent sounding copy of this hard to find record (especially in this condition!) I played it on a good quality turntable to test.
Visually (held under a strong light):
Label: A bit of the label has been removed (most noticeably on side 2) so please check the photos.
A Side:
There are a lot of hairlines but nothing major. There is a slightly bigger scratch on it too but it could possibly be classed as a hairline.
B Side:
Same as before with plenty of hairlines.
Packaging
I will package the record in a very sturdy box using stiffeners, bubble wrap and newspaper to help protect it. The record sleeve + vinyl will also be separated and placed in a heavyweight protective sleeve
