Swell Maps – Read About Seymour – RT 010 (Jump/Scratch between tracks on B side) VG
A very good condition copy of Swell Maps classic Read About Seymour from my own collection on Rough Trade, bought after hearing it on the John Peel Show in the late 70's.
The record mostly plays great with only a light bit of crackle on the lead ins. The label and vinyl are clean but on the B side there are two tiny idents (Pics 7-8) on the vinyl that don't really affect the playing of the tunes and there is a jump between the two tracks on the B side (not sure if something is embedded in the grooves between the tracks see pic 9) because of these factors I put the starting price low.
There is some wear on the folded over flaps on the back of the cover and also on the sleeve with some very light yellowing but great for its age, still VG condition.
