Description

This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop, jazz & R&B 10" 78's from the late 1940's into the 50's. There are a handful of unusual small labels represented here as well as some promos and several early recordings by performers who would go on to be big stars.
Here's the info on this item:

Release: Lowell Fulson - Cash Box Boogie / My Daily Prayer

Format: 78 rpm 10" shallac record

Year: 1954

Notes: White label promo first pressing. Earlier single by the bluesman originally from Oklahoma, towards the end of his run on Swing Time.  This one, like his others on Swing Time, lean a little more into his R&B side than the straight Chicago Blues style. The b-side here is an obscure track, but one of his best vocal performances.

Record Condition: E+, The record itself is in really nice shape & plays very well, doesn't seem to have been played much at all. Just a couple of micro-scuffs away from N-. Sound is clean and clear. Labels are also very clean with no writing/tears/scuffs. This is a quite nice copy overall.

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in an oversize box for maximum protection.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
