Description
SYD BARRETT'S 2nd ALBUM, BARRETT (1970), ON VINYL
This is the famous Gilmour & Wright-produced album that helped to cement Syd Barrett's place as a genius of British popular music - though it didn't trouble the charts on first release. There are some great songs here and the full track listing is as follows:

There is a huge variety in the tracks, from the romance of "Love Song" to the humour of the final track to the dark imagery of "Wolfpack". It is fascinating to hear these songs and to wonder how they would have sounded if they had ever become Pink Floyd tracks! The cover, incidentally, was designed and drawn by Barrett himself.
This is the original UK Harvest release (SHSP 4007). The sleeve is in VG+ condition with no cuts or tears. The previous owner wrote their name on the reverse in small lettering then scored it out. Otherwise there are no problems with the sleeve.
The record is still in its original Harvest inner (which has a cellophane liner for extra protection) and the vinyl is VG+ (probably Ex, but I prefer to be cautious). It has been lovingly looked after by the two owners who have had it since its original purchase in 1970, the second being me. Don't really want to sell but financial circumstances dictate, so hoping this will go to an equally caring home!
I will post the record first class within two days of receiving payment. It will be in a cardboard LP mailer, further strengthened by a strong cardboard insert.
