Description
A true, first UK pressing of Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs released in the UK in 1970. Has all the first label requirements:
1. No EMI on the label and The Gramaphone Co. rim text. 2. Syd Barrett above the Harvest logo. 3. No space between Copyright holder and Produced By credits at bottom of label. 4. "Barrett except + Joyce" credit on side 2.
A-2G, B-2G in the dead wax of each side, respectively.
Fully laminated cover, with 6911 date code on back.
Comes with correct, plain white, patented inner sleeve.
Cover is a strong Excellent to NM with only a tiny bit of laminate creasing in a couple of spots. LP is also a very strong Excellent to NM-, with excellent audio quality.
You would be very hard pressed to find a nicer copy!
