Description
Here's a lovely original Barbados pressing of Syd Jones and the Troubadors Deep Funk classic 'Positively Spicy' on the WIRL label WO14, recorded at Caribbean Sound Studios, Trinidad.Sleeve is in excellent condition with a small sticker removal mark but absolutely intact and free from tears, splits etc.
As for the record itself, it's best to let you hear for yourself! Below is track 2, a storming cover of The Meters' 'Cardova', recorded direct from a Rega P5 to my laptop and converted to MP3. It can't recreate the presence and warmth of the vinyl, but it can show the remarkable condition the disc is in, and is representative of the entire disc. Sorry, sample does not work on mobile devices - please visit this page on a PC or Laptop to hear.
Cleaned on a Moth Mk2 Pro record cleaning machine with L'art Du Son fluid for crystal clear sound and removal of static, with a new antistatic inner sleeve supplied inside the original. Discs will be sent in a professional record mailer with cardboard stiffeners to ensure they reach you in fantastic condition.
I'm passionate about classic vinyl and want my buyers to get as much satisfaction and pleasure from it as I do, so if you have any questions or problems please let me know and I'll go out of my way to help.
Thanks for looking!
