Symphony X - Damnation game , 2012 , in great Condition.

After the fairly good attempt that was the debut of this great band they return the following year in 1995 with 'The damnation game', and it is clearly a massive improvement over they're first. Sticking to the tuneful and melodic side of progressive music this is very, very close to a masterpiece, and it sets the scene for a great multitude of great albums after it. Whilst probably not quite a classic, it certainly rides very high on a extremely refined quality and organic songwriting to be worthy of the full marks.


There is such a natural balance of atmospheric moments, riffs and inescapable undercurrents of melodies that this is probably the album that nailed the quintessential Symphony X brand. The performance of the band members is obviously of a very high class and it reeks of a concrete sophistication and talent. The blend of light and dark & the heavy and lighter affairs chop and change in a unpredictable way:- and it is incredibly exciting. All band members star with a magnificent musical precision and duty.
