Description
Synanthesia - Synanthesia
(RCA Victor SF 8058 UK LP 1969)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve & comes with its original generic polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has orange "RCA Victor" labels. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers. A very rare late 1960's UK Acid Folk LP. Sadly, this is quite a well played copy. However, it is still a very serviceable copy of an extremely collectable late 1960's UK LP.
Sleeve: There is some minor writing on the rear sleeve next to 4 track titles (see photo). There is a 2 cm area of more moderate rubbing wear to top of the spine. There is mild, very mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the sleeve opening edges. This is not that noticeable. There is some light, mild or very mild laminate lifting on the front sleeve, at the spine area, on a couple of areas. There is some mild, very mild or more moderate ringwear. Very Good condition
Vinyl: Unfortunately, this is a well played copy. There are mild. more moderate or moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 6 hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. The longest 4 cm mark is slightly thicker than a hairline mark. There is a finger tip sized surface rub, or scuff, mark on one side. Overall, Good condition. The labels are in near excellent condition & show mild spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good overall. There is light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. Obviously, being acoustic, this is mainly a fairly quiet LP. There are a few areas of more moderate crackle too. This never lasts too long. The crackle never completely overpowers the music either. The music still shines through. There are some light or very mild intermittent clicks on two tracks on Side 2. These do not last very long. Overall, a very serviceable audio copy..
