This record is in very good condition. It has some faint spindle marks visible on the labels but these are no clearly obvious. There are no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere and there is only mild wear around the centre holes. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are clearly used and have light surface lines, sleeve scuffs and marks showing. It still has a nice lustre and no really nasty marks but there is a scratch in track 2 and 3 on side 1 that can be felt. This is shown in picture 9 above and its impact described below. So overall the vinyl is not perfect visually and has light surface lines and signs of use/age but also still has a nice lustre and nothing extremely nasty.
I play tested the record and it played nicely throughout. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The audio produced is very enjoyable and has no major issues of any sort. There are no skips, sticks or disruptive clicks and only occasional very minor amounts of surface noise or interference(mostly between tracks and in the run in's). I noted very little on either side other than the odd faint splutter of surface noise and overall the audio is a solid grade of EX. The scratch mentioned above also luckily has little to no audible affect and overall the record plays far better than the visual grade of VG.
The sleeve is in very good condition. It has wear and rubbing to all the edges and corners but the writing on the spine is actually all still legible. Despite this wear the sleeve remains solid and there are no splits, although the wear in the centre of the top edge is weakening this area. Other than the edge wear there are no scuffs or pen marks but there is a small 1cm tear to the centre of the rear left edge. This is quite discreet and not to obvious luckily. There is also some general age related grubbiness or mild discolouring to each side, light ring marks, slight fading and minor creasing in places. So overall not a pristine sleeve but one that is still solid and has just age related wear really. I have tried my best to explain the sleeves condition but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It includes its original red lyrics inner which is in excellent condition. This has has no splits, tears or pen marks but has some slight and minor creasing, mild edge wear and ring marks. I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
