T Rex The Slider Deluxe Limited Numbered Edition x2 Silver & Red 12” Vinyl #713.

Available for sale is this superb, still sealed Deluxe Edition of The Slider by T. Rex.

According to the label on the front, this set contains: ‘the classic album and Rabbit Fighter (The Alternative Slider) On 180g heavyweight silver and red coloured vinyl. Limited Edition Numbered.’

This x2 vinyl set is Number 713 of only 1000 ever produced and is still sealed its in original shrink wrap so has never been used, played or even opened and remains in immaculate, stunning condition.

Because of the plastic wrap, this T. Rex rarity was quite hard to photograph as it’s so shiny so please excuse any glares and reflections.

This is a beautiful piece of T. Rex memorabilia that would make a great addition to any fan’s collection.

• Official description: The second title in the Demon Records Deluxe range is The Slider. This classic album released in July 1972 on the back of three chart-topping T.Rex LPs provides a perfect snapshot of the era the press dubbed T. Rextasy and is proof of Bolan’s extraordinary and enduring appeal across the generations. The Slider contained two UK Number 1 hit singles, Telegram Sam and Metal Guru the latter famously regarded by Morrissey as pop perfection.

Packaged as a double-LP gatefold with printed inner sleeves, one LP on silver coloured vinyl and the other on red vinyl. This premium edition is a limited run and numbered. LP1 is the classic album and the second LP is Rabbit Fighter: The Alternate Slider. Rabbit Fighter is an alternate version of the original album made up of alternate takes, demos and B-sides. •
