T2 - IT'LL ALL WORK OUT IN BOOMLAND
A nice copy of this sought after 1970 UK 1st press hard rock rarity
Year/Label : 1970 UK DECCA Label number : SKL 5050 Matrix numbers : ZAL - 9702P - 4W, ZAL - 9703.P - 2W Stampers : "JT" tax code on each of the dead wax areasVery good plus (VG+) condition vinyl - completely flat and retaining a nice jet black lacquered sheen and in daylight comes across as excellent condition. Close inspection under a bright light reveals a number of very light scuff lines on each side along with the occasional equally light and fine hairline and a couple of extremely faint scuff lines - each is strictly surface only and non-feelable, purely superficial, and not impacting upon the impressive stereo sound quality. The labels are excellent with the only blemish being some very small and non-obvious very faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label. Very good (VG) condition front-side laminated Moore & Matthes outer sleeve with firm and largely unscuffed edges though there is the occasional tiny "nick" on the top edge and spine. There is diagonal laminate creasing towards the top two corners, more noticeable in the right corner (see photo) where the laminate crease extends to some cardboard creasing also. There is mild rubbing on each corner and on the reverse side some mild ring wear accompanied by a few mild surface marks caused by decades of storage and handling. On the reverse side thee is also a tiny scuff mark towards the top right corner and "S/H 397" has been lightly written in black biro at the top left corner. Still presentable and fully functional but "very good" condition overall - no better than that - being the correct grading. Excellent (EX) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, obvious clicks (just a couple of very light, low level clicks on side 2 - nothing really) or distortion and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum - just the hint of some faint and very background crackle during a couple of very short passages on side 2...negligible. Excellent tone and impressively clear reproduction throughout with every track a great listen. This LP certainly stands the test of time. Comes with excellent condition poly-lined inner sleeve which is not the original. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A nice copy of this 1970 sought after rock rarity with the impressive stereo sound quality undoubtedly being the highlight.
