Description
Pick Of The Pops For Your DJ 312 featuring 3 unreleased T2 'live in studio' tracks (UK BBC Transcription Services, October 1970) + 3 cue sheets
THIS IS THE PERFECT ADDITION TO T2 DEBUT LP FROM 1970. IT'S IN MINT CONDITION WITH MEGA RARE CUE SHEETS! ALL T2 TRACKS FROM SIDE 2 CAN BE FOUND AS BONUS TRACKS ON CD VERSIONS, BUT THEY SOUNDED MUCH BETTER HERE!
ALL BBC TRANSCRIPTION DISCS LISTED DURING NEXT FEW WEEKS CAME FROM MY OWN RECORD COLLECTION AND ARE 100% ORIGINAL! THROUGH THE YEARS I DID PAY TOP MONEY FOR MY BBC TITLES, SO YOU CAN EXPECT TOP NOTCH QUALITY BETWEEN EX+ AND NEAR MINT!
THIS BBC ALBUM WAS OFFERED ON EBAY JUST ONCE (IN VG+ CONDITION) - OVER 10 YEARS AGO! Mega rare original UK issue in pristine MINT condition! This is NOT 'Top Of The Pops' version (with slightly different and usually shorter tracks), but rarer version for radio DJ - without any announcements! No talk between the tracks!!!
This album also contains mega rare and unreleased elsewhere version of 'Killer' (October 1970) by Van Der Graaf Generator! This great studio version is not available even on recent 'At The BBC 1968-1977' official 2CD! The best thing on that album is Side Two with amazingly good T2 tracks!!! They were NOT released on their Decca 1970 LP , but they were added to CD versions as bonus tracks. This vinyl sounds 30% better, fuller than bonus tracks on CD!
SIDE 1 1. MEDICINE HEAD - Sing with a drum 2. ROGER WITTAKER - New world in the morning 3. WHITE PLAINS - Julie do you love me 4. BRIAN MATTHEW talks to PETER HAMMILL 5. VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR - Killer (UNRELEASED ELSEWHERE!!!) 6. ROGER WHITTAKER - Sail away 7. MEDICINE HEAD - To train time
SIDE 2: MOST PROBABLY THE BEST HEAVY PROGRESSIVE ROCK EVER RECORDED!
1. T2 - In Circles 9:10 2. T2 - Questions And Answers 5:17 3. T2 - C.D. 7:03 (THEIR BEST TRACK EVER)
It was pressed in 1970 in 100 copies - for radio stations only. It contains rare cue sheet with all important infos. The sound quality is perfect! This is mega rare item which should NOT be missed!
Company cover: MINT- Very clean company cover with NO writings and stamps. Record: MINT Yes! Full mint without any click or slightest noise! TOP! Labels: MINT with usual BBC stamps on
