Description
TABERNA MYLAENSIS - Gricalata
Label: Isola
Nation: Italy
Cat.no.: ISO 33501
Year: 1981
Format: Vinyl LP
Grading: Near Mint
strictly graded using Record Collector's scale.
New copy, still in shrink but opened and tested, of the third album by this folk group from Sicily.
Taberna Mylaensis, active since the mid 70's (and also featured on the Parco Lambro Festival live compilation), began as a traditional mediterranean folk band, gradually moving to a more contemporary sound.
This, their third album, is closer to progressive music, with large use of electric instruments and a stable bass/drums rhythm section.
Everything they did is terribly rare today, and this album was just opened by me a few weeks ago to tape and test it.
