LP : Takeshi Inomata & The Third - Morning Glory

Original Japanese pressing from 1978 on FAR EAST, ETJ-60007, contains the original record-sized insert and has the OBI-banderole. Amazing bigband-recording from 1971, wich is released here for the first time, it was released exclusively in Japan. You might know drummer T.Inomata from his in demand LP called „SOUNDS OF SOUND L.T.D.“. All tracks on this LP are written by the man on the funky Fender Rhodes and tasteful Hammond B 3, Norio Maeda. Great jazzfunk with sometimes a progressive edge (e.g. some wild fuzz-guitars ), „In Quiet“ turns out not to be so quiet in the end cause there is a long wild percussion part, the best track „Sleeper“ is absolutely dope funk. You can listen to “In Quiet“ and “The Chant Of Morning Glory“ on youtube.

Tracks: side 1: The Chant Of Morning Glory - In Quiet side 2: Song Of Cradle – Sleeper – Alone

Condition: the record looks & plays in mint-. The cover shows just slight shelfwear, all seams are intact without rub, the seam has a ca. 2 inch split in the middle but still sticks together tightly, front is absolutely fine, on the back there are just a few scuffs, mini-cut-out lower left through cover & OBI, OBI otherwise fine; overall ex. Insert is in mint-.

Grading & Cleaning:

the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine
after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )
I also visually graded the record in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg
cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve
