Description
This LP is a horror and suspense record and a collector’s dream. Boris Karloff was a very famous Hollywood actor whose career included almost exclusively movies involving horror and suspense. Now with his storytelling career on records, he has proven his rare and talented worth yet again in the horror and suspense genre and that he’s one of history’s best storytellers in the field.
The album cover tells listeners to, “Dim the lights and play this record … if you dare!”
The story titles on this LP are appropriately titled: THE LADDER, NEVER KICK A BLACK CAT, THE VAMPIRE SLEEPS, THE MIRROR OF DAETH, VOICE FROM THE GRAVE, and, NIGHTMARE. Each one is scarier and more suspenseful than the next.
The cover’s condition is VG+ since 2 of the corners have been banged, there is very minor edge wear, and there’s a short note hand-written next to the track list’s, The Nightmare on the back. No ring wear.
The original paper inner sleeve, while needing some glue, is included.
The album vinyl is shiny, glossy and bright with only a very few light marks but no deep scratches and no other damage or age wear from 1963! We’re rating it Excellent.
