Lovely copy of the rare 1947 soundtrack for Disney's Song of the South, on Capitol 3-78 record album CC-40. Titled Tales of Uncle Remus, this collection features select songs and stories from the movie soundtrack, with music by Johnny Mercer. The first of the three discs is from the later pressing from about 1952, but the other discs are the original 1947 ones. The first one also has a bit of wear, whereas the other two are in excellent condition with only a few light superficial marks that don't generally affect the play at all. The second two play perfectly and the first plays well with some noise. The cover is in great shape with a perfectly intact and fully readable spine, and minimal edge and corner wear. The binding is still strong and the front image very striking and unblemished. This is a beautiful copy of this Disney rarity.
