Description
The famous or for some infamous album that proved commercial suicide for the band but became a treasured release for many. If you know the history of the album then you will know about how they went from Top Of The Pops to relative obscurity.
Like many who bought this it was a shock to hear such sparse, ambient post-rock and I wouldn’t have been the only one to give this minimal plays. Maybe I was wrong to do so but what we have here is an almost mint record (mint-ish playing surface with a tiny bit of spindle marks) inside a sleeve that was never extracted from the wrapper it came in. It was of course slit open and played maybe half a dozen times if that. The wrapper you can see has been creased and bent back in parts but what isn’t exposed is as good as it was when it was first taken of the shelves of Virgin Records.
Hasn’t been played for at least 25 years... can you give it a good home?
This is the first pressing from my own collection.
Some very very minor edgewear but in VG+/NM condition for something this old. No quibble money back if not satisfied.
I am only able to grade visually because I don’t have a turntable.
Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class inside a bespoke LP cardboard mailer.
