TANGERINE DREAM Electronic Meditation (Virgin 940.530) RARE French Pressing MINT
RARE French pressing of Tangerine Dream`s debut album "Electronic Meditation". Originally released on Ohr Records (in June 1970), this is a second pressing on the French subsidiary of Virgin Records (1976).
With little similarity to Tangerine Dream`s later works (concurrently also released on Virgin in the UK), "Electronic Meditation" is very much a work of abstract electronica and the only Tangerine Dream album to feature Klaus Schulze (on drums!) as well as the recently deceased avantgarde artist Conny Schnitzler.
GRADING:
MINT- COVER. Fully laminated gatefold sleeve, perfect except for a few tiny creases along the spine and top edge. Please see photos for details.
MINT- RECORD with a few lightest hairlines from sleeve removal only. Played maybe once or twice.
PLEASE NOTE: Over the next few months, we will regularly be offering a number of rarities, mainly progressive and avantgarde records: A very discerning, long-time collector friend left us his treasure chest! Not only are many of these lps extremely rare, they are almost all in MINT(-) condition - both inside and out.
As we slowly inch closer to springtime, we will be spreading the goodies out, in no special order. Suffice to say that the best is still to come!
