This is a reasonably priced original 1968 U.S. Oil City Records (Corpus Christi Texas) promo 45 RPM record containing the tunes titled 'She Needs Love'/'I'd Like To Get To Know You Better' from female fronted garage psychsters Tapestry Garden. It is Oil City Records U.S. catalog number OCR 205, orange Oil City Records labels, and is a promo copy with a rubber stamp to that effect on the labels. This 45 is a GUARANTEED 1968 ORIGINAL, NOT A 'REPRO' REPRODUCTION OR A LATER COLLECTOR'S PRESSING. 'She Needs Love' can be heard on You Tube, it is a SUPER slice of heavy garage psych with a female vocalist that will remind you of a less commercial heavier Jefferson Airplane. Condition of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Labels have a little bit of wear around the center hole, no other real flaws. A choice addition to any late 1960s garage psych record collection!
