Description

Here's an exceptionally rare artifact. It's a one-sided acetate that was used in either production or promotion for one of the original Johnny Weissmüller Tarzan films. It contains the iconic, extended "Tarzan yell," repeated six times. The etchings in the matrix read as follows: 
MGM 7-1077 TARZAN YELLS 21485 33 1/3 RPM
The disc is in VG+ condition and plays beautifully, especially for an old acetate. Note that each yell plays in a "locked groove," so the needle needs to be moved manually after each.
