Description
PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE CONSIDERING BIDDING - THIS HAS ONE SIGNIFICANT CONDITION ISSUE.
Here's a great early pressing of an audiophile classic. It's Beethoven Symphony No. 6 "Pastorale" performed by the Columbia Symphony Orchestra conducted by Bruno Walter (MS 6012). Six-eye stereo label.
Condition - The jacket shows general light wear. The jacket is in VG+condition. The record is very shiny with few signs of use. I would grade at NM-, but I played both sides and was surprised to hear about 1 minute of ticking and a skip in about the fourth minute of the first side. There is a small by deep mark responsible for those problems. Due to the skip, I will grade side one at Fair, but most of it plays much better, more like Near Mint Minus. Side two looks and plays at Near Mint Minus.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed, opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and please check out my other audiophile auctions!
