A fine highlights disc, of one of only 12 operas ever recognized on the TAS list for performance and sonics, this featuring Karajan's AIDA with Tebaldi, Bergonzi, Simionato, and MacNeil in soloist support.

Jacket is without major fault, just has the beginnings of edge on the spine; record within – a UK pressing – plays near mint.

A fine listening disc, pressed very well indeed.
