No doubt you are aware that Mehta’s THE PLANETS is an awesome recording from London Records that has been recognized the world over for its incredible sound.
What you might not be aware of, is that the very same London recording has been re-tooled by Super Analogue in Japan to try to capture every last ounce of the stellar performance on vinyl, here in their heavy platter re-issue.
The end result is not only one of the very finest PLANETS on record, but one of the very finest LPs, period. (As a friend of mine whispered after hearing the opening to MARS: “Welcome to LA’s Royce Hall.” A place he knows intimately.)
A beautiful thing to behold, among the finest orchestral demonstrations on record, here factory sealed.
Absolutely, positively not to be missed.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $5, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
